1. Prices The price of the goods shall be the sellers quoted price. Prices exclude delivery charges. The seller reserves the right, by giving notice to the buyer at any time before delivery, to increase the price of the goods to reflect any increase in the cost to the seller which is due to any factor beyond the control of the seller.
Phillips Footwear reserve the right to alter product specifications within reasonable tolerances.
2. Payment Payment with order by credit card, debit card or cheque. Cheques should be made payable to Phillips Footwear. The company reserves the right to clear cheques before goods are dispatched. Monthly accounts must be cleared within 30 days of the date of the invoice.
3. Delivery Orders over £45 are carriage paid. All orders under £45 will have a £3.95 carriage charge automatically added to the order. Orders to the Highlands of Scotland, some northern regions of Scotland and the Islands of the UK where orders over £75 are carriage paid. Orders below this level will have a £10 carriage charge automatically added to the order. Orders to Northern Ireland where orders are over £100 are carriage paid. Orders below this level will have a £10 carriage charge automatically added to the order. All carriage charges apply to delivery within the UK only.
Any dates quoted for delivery are approximate only and the seller shall not be liable for any delay in the delivery of the goods howsoever caused.
If the buyer fails to take delivery of the goods or fails to give the seller adequate delivery instructions at the time stated for delivery then, without prejudice to any other right or remedy available to the Seller, the Seller may charge the Buyer for the costs of storage or sell the goods at the best price readily obtainable and charge the Buyer for the costs of storage and the difference in the price as quoted and the price achieved.
4, Damages, Shortages or Non Delivery Damage or Short Delivery : Damage and/or shortages must be noted on carriers delivery sheet immediately and notice given in writing given to the Seller within 3 days of receipt of goods.
Non Delivery: Claims for non delivery must be made in writing to the Seller within 3 days of date of dispatch shown on invoice.
5. Guarantee & Returns Policy In the event that a product does not meet your requirements it must be returned to Phillips Footwear in its original condition and packaging within 28 days of delivery. Extended guarantees on specific products exclude fair wear and tear. All returns must be authorized prior to return. It is recommended that you obtain a proof of postage, as Phillips Footwear is not liable for any goods lost during the return process. We regret that Phillips Footwear is unable to refund the original carriage charge or indeed postage charges on any returned unwanted products.
6. Limit of Liability Phillips Footwear warrants to the buyer that its products are free from defects in material and workmanship, but limits its obligations under this warranty to the replacement of products.
Phillips Footwear's liability is thus limited to the value of the goods supplied. Phillips Footwear cannot be held responsible or liable for any other liabilities whatsoever.
7. Sizes Any sizes and colours quoted are approximate and for guidance only.
8. Clearance Line There are limited stocks of any clearance and packaging may be damaged. All stock is sold as seen and therefore returns will not be accepted unless the product is faulty or damaged. Should clearance lines not be available at the point of processing the order and subsequently the order value drops below £45, carriage charges will be applied.
9. Privacy Statement We are committed to protecting your privacy. We will only use the information that we collect about you lawfully (in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998).
We collect information about you for 2 reasons: firstly, to process your order and second, to provide you with the best possible service. We will not e-mail you in the future unless you have given us your consent. We will give you the chance to refuse any marketing email from us or from another trader in the future. The type of information we will collect about you includes:

- address
- phone number
- email address
- credit/debit card details
We will never collect sensitive information about you without your explicit consent.
The information we hold will be accurate and up to date. You can check the information that we hold about you by emailing us. If you find any inaccuracies we will delete or correct it promptly.
The personal information which we hold will be held securely in accordance with our internal security policy and the law. If we intend to transfer your information outside the EEA (European Economic Area) we will always obtain your consent first. We may use technology to track the patterns of behaviour of visitors to our site. This can include using a "cookie" which would be stored on your browser. You can usually modify your browser to prevent this happening. The information collected in this way can be used to identify you unless you modify your browser settings.
